By accessing or using PawPulse ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PawPulse is a free, AI-powered pet nutrition tracking application that allows pet owners to:

• Scan and analyze pet meals, stool, and leftovers using AI
• Track daily calorie intake with breed-specific targets
• Monitor health trends and receive automated alerts
• Manage profiles for multiple dogs and cats

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PawPulse provides informational guidance only and does not replace professional veterinary advice.

• AI-generated analyses are estimates based on image recognition and should not be treated as medical diagnoses
• Calorie calculations are approximate and based on general breed data
• Health alerts are observational — they are not clinical assessments
• Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your pet's health
• PawPulse is not liable for any health outcomes resulting from actions taken based on AI recommendations

4. User Accounts

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use PawPulse
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information about your pets for meaningful AI analysis
• You may delete your account and all data at any time through the app Settings

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the AI analysis system
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Misrepresent AI-generated results as professional veterinary assessments

6. Intellectual Property

• PawPulse and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PawPulse and protected by intellectual property laws
• You retain ownership of any photos you upload; you grant PawPulse a limited license to process them for AI analysis only
• AI-generated analysis results are provided for your personal use and may not be commercially redistributed

7. AI Analysis Limitations

• AI analysis accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and food presentation
• Breed-specific recommendations are based on general breed characteristics and may not account for individual health conditions
• The AI may not recognize all food brands, types, or preparations
• Stool analysis via the Bristol Scale is an approximation and is not equivalent to veterinary lab testing

8. Availability & Changes

• We aim to keep PawPulse available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
• We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• PawPulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (currently: free)

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
